Can You Take the SWLE Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •At least eighteen (18) years of age, lowered from twenty-one by RA 10847.
- •Filipino citizenship or reciprocity agreement qualifications.
- •Good health and good moral character with NBI clearance and no convictions involving moral turpitude.
- •PSA-issued birth certificate and marriage contract (if applicable).

Retake Policy
RA 4373 provides no conditioned status and no removal examination, and the PRC List of Requirements lists only First-Timer and Repeater tracks for Social Workers at the PHP 900.00 complete fee, so a failed examinee retakes all five subjects. PRC does not publish a fixed retake waiting period or attempt limit in the official sources reviewed; candidates should verify the next application window and current requirements with PRC.
