Diode symbols and characteristics, forward/reverse bias, half-wave, full-wave and bridge rectifiers, smoothing, clippers and clampers, Zener regulation, LED, thyristor (SCR), Schottky, photo, varactor and varistor
PNP/NPN construction and currents, N-type and P-type doping, common-emitter/base/collector configurations, bias and stabilisation, decoupling, feedback, amplifier classes A/B/C, push-pull, oscillators and multivibrators, FETs and Darlington pairs
Analogue op-amps (inverting, non-inverting, voltage follower, comparator, integrator, differentiator, summing), virtual earth, open-loop gain and slew rate, and digital logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR) and TTL levels
