Can You Take the Fire Officer Exam (FOE) Exam?

Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements

Age
Must be 21 to 35 years old on the date and time of filing the application.
Education
Must be a bachelor's degree holder from a recognized institution, regardless of field of study.
Experience
No prior firefighting experience is required to take the examination; the FOE establishes the Register of Eligibles for appointment to BFP second-level ranks.
Background Check
Applicants must be of good moral character with no disqualifying criminal record; later BFP recruitment involves background investigation, physical, and medical examinations.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be a Filipino citizen (including dual citizens under RA 9225).
  • Must present a valid government-issued ID and accomplished CSC Form 100 (Revised).
  • Must pay the PhP 700.00 examination fee, which is non-refundable.
  • Must not have taken the FOE, POE, or BCLTE within three months before the exam date.
