No. Once you pass and are conferred Career Service (Professional) eligibility, it does not expire. It can be used to qualify for first- and second-level government positions, subject to other requirements, except those involving the practice of a profession or covered by special laws.
How often is the exam offered and can I retake it?
For the August 9, 2026 administration, CSC requires applicants not to have taken the same examination level within the three months before the examination date. Check the examination announcement for the next administration's excluded date range before reapplying.
