Run mixed timed sets covering servicing and safety, aircraft drawings, fluid lines and fittings, maintenance math, and applied physics.
Can You Take the FAA AMT General Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Documented practical experience or graduation from an FAA-certificated Part 147 aviation maintenance technician school
- •The General written must be passed in addition to the Airframe and/or Powerplant written tests
- •All prescribed tests must be passed within 24 months (14 CFR 65.71(a)(3)); an expired knowledge test report may still support the practical test under 65.75(d)
- •Tests are administered by PSI at FAA-approved knowledge testing centers
