Can You Take the FAA AMT General Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Documented practical experience or graduation from an FAA-certificated Part 147 aviation maintenance technician school
- •The General written must be passed in addition to the Airframe and/or Powerplant written tests
- •Knowledge test results are valid for a limited period before the oral and practical tests must be completed
- •Tests are administered by PSI at FAA-approved knowledge testing centers
