Can You Take the AK Electrician Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Submit the Certificate of Fitness application with experience documentation to Alaska DOL Mechanical Inspection (mi@alaska.gov)
- •Allow 7-10 business days for packet validation before an exam is scheduled
- •Test at a division office in Anchorage, Juneau or Fairbanks on the first or third Wednesday of the month, or through an approved job center proctor or Alaska-based union hall
- •Pay a $50 nonrefundable application fee and a $200 journeyman certificate fee to the State of Alaska
