Frequently Asked Questions
Is the MS RE Salesperson vocabulary game free?
Yes. The game is free to play with no sign-up. Signing in adds AI explanations for any term.
How do the MS RE Salesperson vocabulary games work?
There are 4 games built on 20 MS RE Salesperson terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.
Where do the MS RE Salesperson terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the Mississippi Real Estate Commission (MREC) / PSI content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
How many questions are on the Mississippi real estate salesperson exam?
The Mississippi exam has two portions administered by PSI: the general portion has 80 questions with a 2.5-hour limit (70% = 56 points), and the state portion has 40 questions with a 1.5-hour limit (75% = 30 points). They may be scheduled together, but are scored separately. You retake only a failed portion, and both must be passed within the same two-month eligibility period.
What education is required for a Mississippi real estate license?
The resident salesperson route requires 60 classroom hours of approved real estate education. A first-time salesperson then has a temporary license and must complete the prescribed 30-hour post-license course within 12 months; otherwise the license becomes inactive. Ongoing renewal requires 16 approved CE hours per two-year period, and MREC-designated required subjects may comprise no more than 8 of those hours.
