Can You Take the GROL Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Must be a legal resident of or otherwise eligible for employment in the United States
- •Must be able to transmit and receive spoken messages in English
- •Must obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN) before testing
- •Must pass exams through an FCC-authorized COLEM (not administered by FCC directly)
- •Proof of Passing Certificate (PPC) must be filed within 365 days of issuance
- •No minimum age requirement
