4 tasks, 25 items, 60 minutes: a 250–300-word personal letter or email (5 questions), eight 50–80-word public texts (8 questions), six statements matched to three 100–120-word texts, and a 375–425-word narrative text (6 questions). All items have three options or are matching.

4 tasks, 25 items, 40 minutes: six short conversations with picture options, six radio extracts (news, programme clips, ads), one conversation with six statements about the man, the woman or neither, and seven public-address or answering-machine messages matched to seven of ten statements. Each audio is heard twice.

2 tasks, 45 minutes: a 60–70-word note, message, email or short letter replying to a 35–45-word personal text, and a 70–80-word composition on one of two options (an everyday topic from personal life, or a biographical or narrative text from photos or data). Rated by two raters on Uso de la lengua (66%) and Cumplimiento de la tarea (34%).

3 tasks prepared in 12 minutes: a 2–3-minute presentation on one of two topics, a 2–3-minute description of one of two photos, and a 3–4-minute simulated conversation with the examiner in a situation linked to the photo. 12 minutes of test time; the interviewer's global score counts 40% and the silent rater's task scores 60%.
