How do the OR RE Broker vocabulary games work?
There are 4 games built on 20 OR RE Broker terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.
Where do the OR RE Broker terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA) / PSI content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
How many questions are on the Oregon real estate broker exam?
The Oregon PSI exam has 130 scored questions: 80 on the national portion (150 minutes) and 50 on the Oregon state-specific portion (90 minutes), for 240 minutes total. Both sections require a passing score of 75%. PSI may also include 5 to 10 unscored experimental questions. Candidates can test at a PSI test center or by remote proctoring.
Does Oregon have a 'salesperson' license?
No. Oregon uses 'Broker' as the entry-level real estate license — there is no 'Salesperson' title in Oregon. A broker works while associated with and supervised by a managing principal broker, and the license is issued once that managing principal broker adds it to the brokerage. With three years of active real estate license experience and the 40-hour Brokerage Administration and Sales Supervision (BASS) course, a broker may apply to become a Principal Broker. HB 3137 (effective January 1, 2026) defines a managing principal broker as a principal broker who has registered or assumed responsibility for a registered business name.
