The RRB Group D (Level 1) Computer-Based Test is the single-stage written screening conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards for entry-level Level 1 posts such as Pointsman, Track Maintainer, Assistant, Assistant Loco Shed, and Assistant TL & AC. What happens after qualifying the CBT?
Candidates shortlisted on normalized CBT merit (about three times the vacancies) are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature. PET is followed by document verification and a medical examination before final empanelment.
