Can You Take the RRB NTPC Exam?

Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements

Age
18-30 years for Undergraduate-level posts and 18-33 years for Graduate-level posts as on the notification cut-off date, with statutory age relaxations for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other reserved categories.
Education
A 10+2 (Class 12) pass or equivalent for Undergraduate-level posts; a University degree or equivalent for Graduate-level posts.
Experience
No prior work experience is required; RRB NTPC is an entry-level recruitment.
Background Check
Document verification and a medical examination as per the railway medical standards applicable to the post are conducted before final appointment.
Additional Requirements
  • Candidate must be an Indian national (or otherwise eligible per Government of India rules).
  • Posts requiring typing (clerk/typist) need a typing skill test of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi (qualifying).
  • Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts require qualifying the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).
  • Candidate must meet the medical fitness standard for the chosen post.
