How do the Utah Real Estate vocabulary games work?

There are 4 games built on 20 Utah Real Estate terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.

Where do the Utah Real Estate terms come from?

OpenExamPrep researched each term from the Utah Division of Real Estate (DORE) / Pearson VUE content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.

How many questions are on the Utah real estate salesperson exam?

The Utah real estate salesperson exam has 130 questions administered by Pearson VUE: 80 questions on the national portion and 50 questions on the Utah state-specific portion. Both sections require a scaled score of 70, which is not a percentage correct. The exam fee is $69. If you pass one section and fail the other, you retake only the failed section within six months. You have 4 hours total to complete both sections.

What are Utah's pre-license education requirements?

Utah requires 120 hours of pre-license education approved by the Utah Division of Real Estate (DORE). This must be completed through a DORE-approved education provider before you are eligible to sit for the Pearson VUE licensing exam. After passing, you must affiliate with a licensed principal broker to activate your sales agent license. Utah also requires applicants to be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
