Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ND RE Salesperson vocabulary game free?

Yes. The game is free to play with no sign-up. Signing in adds AI explanations for any term.

How do the ND RE Salesperson vocabulary games work?

There are 4 games built on 20 ND RE Salesperson terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.

Where do the ND RE Salesperson terms come from?

OpenExamPrep researched each term from the North Dakota Real Estate Commission (NDREC) / PSI Services LLC content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.

How many questions are on the North Dakota real estate salesperson exam?

The North Dakota real estate salesperson exam has 140 scored questions administered by PSI: 100 questions on the national portion (150 minutes) and 40 questions on the North Dakota state-specific portion (90 minutes), for a total of 240 minutes (4 hours). You must score at least 70 on the national portion and 30 on the state portion (both 70%) to pass. The $134 exam fee is the same whether you take one portion or both. If you pass one portion but fail the other, you only need to retake the failed portion, and after a failure you may retest without limit for 12 months.

What education is required for a North Dakota real estate license?

North Dakota requires 90 hours of NDREC-approved pre-license education, and you must apply for licensure within 2 years of completing the course. After passing the exam, new salespersons must work under a supervising broker to activate their license. The license must be placed on inactive status if the salesperson is not affiliated with a broker.
