Can You Take the STS Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Application fee of $120 in addition to the $185 exam fee
- •One year from application approval to schedule and pass the examination
- •Annual renewal fee of $70 to keep the credential active
- •Recertification every five years: 3 points (30 hours) of safety and health courses, including 0.5 points from ethics courses, or earning the STSC, CIT, CHST, OHST, ASP, SMP, or CSP
