The SMP exam contains 200 multiple-choice items and allows 4.5 hours. It is delivered by computer through Pearson VUE after BCSP approves eligibility and the exam is purchased.

What score is needed to pass the SMP exam?

BCSP reports a pass/fail result but does not publish the numerical cut score. Preparation should therefore focus on full-blueprint competence rather than an assumed percentage.
