Can You Take the NTN FrontLine Police Exam?

Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements

Age
Candidates must satisfy the age rule for each selected job; NTN's current FAQ says posted jobs require applicants to be at least 18.
Education
Education requirements are set by the hiring department and appear in each job listing.
Experience
Prior law-enforcement experience is not needed to answer the FrontLine Human Relations questions; job eligibility remains department-specific.
Background Check
Background, medical, psychological, physical, and other hiring screens are controlled by the selected department, not by one universal NTN rule.
Additional Requirements
  • Meet every requirement in each selected department's NTN job listing.
  • Select all currently open target jobs before testing; after testing, only newly opened jobs may be added.
  • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID whose name matches the NTN account.
  • Obtain approval for testing accommodations before scheduling the exam.
