Can You Take the Phoenix Firefighter Exam?

- •U.S. citizenship is not required, but non-citizens must present acceptable proof of legal U.S. residency at the time of a job offer.
- •State of Arizona EMT certification is required by the final selection interview (National Registry EMT alone is not accepted).
- •Proof of a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) from a licensed agency, completed within 6 months, is required at the final selection interview.
- •Candidates must pass a medical examination, including a cardiovascular component graded Tier 2 or better, and a drug screen.
