Prov’s scheduler retrieves your eligible exams from that ID plus last name. If the ID is wrong, truncated, or not yet issued, scheduling fails—even if you already paid study materials.

Gate 3 — Prov scheduling & exam day

After approval:

1. Go to https://www.provexam.com/schedule (or use the CIB phone option).
2. Enter the full Candidate ID (all 10 digits starting with 200) and last name.
3. Choose Arkansas testing center, date, and time.
4. Pay $80 CBT or $56 paper/pencil.
5. Arrive with allowed NEC 2023 reference prepared under Prov open-book rules.

Prov administers at its testing centers; the CIB points to current Arkansas center lists and directions. Computer exams are scored immediately; the Board contacts you with score information after Prov’s system grades the attempt.

Gate 4 — License issuance, renewals, and staying legal
