Gynecology
Study pelvic anatomy, uterine pathology (fibroids, adenomyosis), ovarian pathology (cysts, PCOS, masses), and postmenopausal sonographic findings.
Protocols and Procedures
Review scanning techniques, measurement standards (CRL, NT), patient preparation, documentation requirements, first trimester screening protocols, and safety considerations.
First Trimester
Learn early embryology, gestational sac development, yolk sac identification, CRL measurement technique, NT screening criteria, and recognition of failed pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy.
Physics and Instrumentation
Study Doppler principles, hemodynamics (umbilical artery, uterine artery, MCA), image optimization techniques, artifact recognition, and bioeffects/safety including ALARA principles.
