Can You Take the RDCS Pediatric Echocardiography Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Pass the SPI (Sonography Principles & Instrumentation) exam; SPI and the PE specialty exam may be taken in any order, but both must be passed within five years of each other
- •Meet an approved ARDMS prerequisite pathway (formal CAAHEP/ABHES sonography education, or documented clinical ultrasound experience under physician supervision)
- •Submit the application within the published application window and pay the $300 PE exam fee, which includes a $100 non-refundable processing fee
- •Schedule the exam with Pearson VUE and test within the published exam window
