Can You Take the Virginia CNA Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Complete at least 140 total training hours, including 20 skills-laboratory hours and 40 hours of direct clinical care
- •Complete at least 24 hours of instruction before direct client contact
- •Must pass both written/oral AND skills exam within 24 months of training
- •Maximum three attempts per exam component within the eligibility window
- •No disqualifying abuse, neglect, or misappropriation finding on a nurse aide registry
