Who administers the Alabama CNA exam?
The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) approves two testing vendors, and each nurse aide training program chooses one: Prometric or Credentia, which gives the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam. You take both parts with your program's vendor. Passing results go to ADPH, which maintains the Alabama Certified Nurse Aide Registry.
How many questions are on the Alabama CNA written test?
It depends on the vendor. Prometric's Alabama knowledge test has 55 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes. Neither vendor publishes a percentage passing score for Alabama.
