Can You Take the SBI Clerk Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Candidate must be an Indian national (with specified exceptions for certain other nationalities as per the notification).
- •Ability to write and speak English is required.
- •Knowledge of the specified official/local language of the state or union territory applied for; candidates without proof of local-language study in Class 10 or 12 must pass the Local Language Proficiency Test.
- •Candidates already working in SBI's clerical cadre, and former SBI employees who resigned while in the clerical cadre, are not eligible to apply.

Retake Policy
There is no fixed limit on attempts other than the upper age limit. Candidates who are not selected may reapply whenever SBI releases a new Junior Associate notification, subject to meeting the age and eligibility criteria for that cycle.
