About the SBI PO Exam
The SBI PO (Probationary Officer) Recruitment Exam is conducted by the State Bank of India to select graduates for entry-level officer roles across the bank's branches nationwide. What is the application fee for the SBI PO exam?
The application fee is Rs 750 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates (including intimation charges), and there is no fee for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. Registration is complete only after the fee is paid online.
Who is eligible to apply for SBI PO?
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university and be aged 21 to 30 years as on the cut-off date, with age relaxation for reserved categories. Final-year students may apply provisionally.
How is the final SBI PO merit list prepared?
The Prelims is only qualifying and its marks do not count toward the final merit. The final merit list is based on the marks scored in the Mains exam and the Phase 3 Interview and Group Exercise, with sectional cut-offs applied in the Mains.
How many times can I attempt the SBI PO exam?
There is no retake within a single cycle. Candidates re-apply for each new SBI PO notification, subject to the age limit and the category-wise cap on the number of permitted attempts as specified in the notification.
