How do the Property vocabulary games work?
There are 4 games built on 20 Property terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.
Where do the Property terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the State Insurance Commissioner / Pearson VUE or PSI content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
What is the difference between the Property-Only license and the full Property & Casualty license?
The Property-Only license covers physical property losses — homeowners property sections, dwelling fire, commercial property, inland and ocean marine, and crime. It does NOT cover liability or casualty topics like auto liability, CGL, or workers compensation — those require a separate Casualty-Only license. Some states test property and casualty together on one exam; states such as Louisiana, Michigan and Mississippi also offer separate property and casualty producer exams, so producers can hold one line or both.
Who administers the Property-Only insurance exam?
The exam is set by your state insurance department and delivered by its testing vendor, such as PSI in Louisiana and Michigan or Pearson VUE in Mississippi. There is no single national property outline: each state publishes its own content outline, including a state-law section. Confirm your administrator on your state DOI website before scheduling.
