What are the prerequisites for the Florida surplus lines agent exam?
You must hold an active Florida general lines (2-20) agent license and either complete an approved 60-hour surplus and excess lines course (within 4 years of applying) or document 1 year of experience working for a licensed surplus lines agent, as F.S. 626.927 requires.
