Phase 1: Master the Scrum Guide 2020You are here
Read the Scrum Guide 2020 cover-to-cover at scrumguides.org. It is only ~13 pages. Memorize the three accountabilities, five events, three artifacts, three commitments, five Scrum values, and three empirical pillars. Every PSPO I question is anchored in this document.
Phase 2: Product Owner Accountability Deep Dive
Focus on the PO's three core accountabilities: maximizing value, managing the Product Backlog (ordered, transparent, understood), and developing and communicating the Product Goal. Understand what the PO can and cannot delegate.
Phase 3: All Events, Artifacts, and Commitments
Know every Scrum event's purpose, time-box, and attendees. Know the three artifacts and their paired commitments (Product Goal, Sprint Goal, Definition of Done). Understand the distinction between 'ordered' and 'prioritized' and between 'potentially releasable' and 'released.'
