150 items: 10 General Education units at 10% (15 items) each — Purposive Communication, Malayuning Komunikasyon, Readings in Philippine History, Rizal, The Contemporary World, Art Appreciation, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Ethics, and Understanding the Self (PRB Resolution No. 11, s. 2025 Table of Specifications).
150 items covering principles and methods of teaching, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, curriculum development, assessment of learning, educational technology, the teaching profession, and the Code of Ethics. Weighted 60% for Elementary and 40% for Secondary.
150 items on the examinee's major field (120 items for Mathematics); required for Secondary examinees and, from September 2025, for BECEd/BSNEd elementary examinees.
