Phase 2: Cognitive Ability Test (Gating)

Phase 4: Life Experience Survey (Biodata)
Review your verifiable life-experience patterns: work history, leadership roles, conflict-resolution history, attendance, and reliability.
Phase 5: NJ Law & Policy Familiarity
Learn key NJ Criminal Code Title 2C grades, the 2022 NJ Use of Force Policy, AG Directive 2022-14 duty-to-intervene, and Title 39 motor vehicle rules.
Phase 6: Timed Mixed Review
Run full 2.5-hour mock tests, review missed items by section, and confirm hiring-cycle and ID requirements before testing.
Can You Take the NJ LEE / LEAB Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •U.S. citizenship and a valid New Jersey driver's license at the time of appointment.
- •Same LEE is used for Municipal Police Officer, Sheriff's Officer, and County Correctional Police Officer titles.
- •Candidates must complete a non-refundable $60 application fee to NJ CSC.
