The fan-rated box must be listed and marked, and if it supports more than 35 lb it must be marked with the maximum weight up to 70 lb.
Luminaire Disconnecting Means
For fluorescent or LED luminaires that use double-ended lamps and contain ballasts or drivers, and that are installed in indoor locations, a disconnecting means must be provided so the ballast or driver can be serviced without energized parts. It must be accessible to qualified persons before servicing, and may be internal or external to the luminaire.
