Part 1 — Listening Comprehension (聴解)35%

Scene comprehension (matching descriptions to photos), speech comprehension (choosing the appropriate keigo greeting or response in a business scene), and comprehensive listening to workplace dialogues, phone calls, and meetings.

Part 2 — Listening & Reading Comprehension (聴読解)25%

Situation comprehension plus document-and-audio questions interpreting graphs, tables, schedules, advertisements, quotations, and other visual materials while listening to a spoken question.

Part 3 — Reading Comprehension (読解)40%

Vocabulary and grammar, expression reading (selecting correct honorifics and business expressions), and comprehensive reading of business emails, internal documents, meeting minutes, notices, reports, and news articles.
