Based on the official Energy Market Authority (EMA) content outline
Electricity Act Part 9; Electricity (Electrical Installations) Regulations; Electricity (Electrical Workers) Regulations; LEW classes, responsibilities, connection/modification/testing duties, and licence scope for Electrician (≤1000 V / 45 kVA).
Domestic wiring, distribution boards, socket and lighting circuits, 30 mA RCD/RCCB protection, colour coding, and small-installation practice under SS 638.
Industrial LV installations within Electrician scope, motor control, switchboards, load segregation, and industrial protective arrangements under SS 638.
Basic and fault protection, direct/indirect contact, touch voltage concepts, RCCB sensitivity, TN-S and TT systems used in Singapore, bonding and extraneous conductive parts.
Single-line diagrams, maximum demand, protective-device selection, cable sizing with correction factors, voltage-drop limits, and circuit segregation for installations up to 45 kVA.
Visual inspection, continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth-loop impedance, RCCB tests, phasing, and post-turn-on checks before energising.
SS 650 Part 1 construction/building sites and Part 2 festive/trade-fair installations, including SOA use, 30 mA protection, and temporary generator earthing.
