Can You Take the Ohio CNA (STNA) Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Must pass both Knowledge Exam (79 questions, 90 min, 70% to pass) AND Clinical Skills Evaluation (5 skills)
- •Ohio refers to CNAs as State Tested Nurse Aides (STNA)
- •All Ohio test sites use electronic TMU testing
- •Nursing students enrolled in pre-licensure programs may waive training requirement with ODH approval
- •Registry maintains records of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation findings
