Phase 1: Framework, Presentation and RevenueYou are here
Study reporting concepts, IAS 1 presentation, IAS 8, IAS 7 and IAS 10, then IFRS 15 revenue and IAS 37 provisions. Assume 2026 statements without early IFRS 18 application and check enrolled materials.
Phase 2: Income Taxes
Work through the IAS 12 balance-sheet method, temporary differences, deferred tax assets and liabilities, revaluations, and the tax reconciliation note.
Phase 3: Business Combinations and Groups
Drill IFRS 3 goodwill, IFRS 10 consolidation and intragroup eliminations, NCI, IAS 28 equity method, and IFRS 11 joint arrangements (highest-weighted module).
Phase 4: Financial Instruments, Impairment and Mocks
Cover IFRS 9 and IAS 32, IAS 36 impairment and CGUs, then complete worksheet-style practice and timed mock exams across all modules.

The need for general purpose financial statements, the IASB Conceptual Framework, qualitative characteristics, definitions and recognition criteria, materiality, the mixed measurement model, and professional judgement (IFRS 16, IAS 19, IFRS 2, IAS 40).
IAS 1 presentation, the four primary statements and notes, IAS 8 accounting policies, estimates and errors, IAS 10 events after the reporting period, IAS 7 cash flows, IAS 34 interim reporting, and IFRS 8 operating segments.
IFRS 15 five-step revenue model, performance obligations, transaction price allocation, variable consideration and contract costs, and IAS 37 provisions, contingent liabilities and contingent assets.
