Can You Take the CFA L1 Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Comply with CFA Institute Code of Professional Conduct and exam policies
- •Schedule through the Prometric scheduling process after registration
- •Maximum two exam attempts per calendar year, not in consecutive windows or windows six months or less apart
- •Maximum six attempts per exam level
- •To earn the charter later, pass all three exams, complete 4,000 hours of relevant work experience over at least 36 months, become a CFA Institute member, and provide references
