Master Ocular Anatomy & Optics (Domains I-II)You are here
Build foundational knowledge of corneal anatomy, tear film, refractive errors, and contact lens optics. These domains form the basis for all clinical content.
Learn Instrumentation & Pre-Fitting (Domains III-IV)
Study keratometry, slit lamp technique, corneal topography, lens material properties (Dk, modulus), and patient assessment protocols.
Practice Diagnostic Fitting & Dispensing (Domains V-VI)
Master fluorescein patterns, soft/toric/multifocal fitting, lens care systems, wearing schedules, and patient education. Domain VI is 20% of the exam.
Review Follow-Up & Regulations, Then Take Practice Exams
Study complications, follow-up protocols, FDA regulations, HIPAA, and coding. Then take timed practice exams to build exam-day confidence.
Can You Take the CLRE Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
