CRAT CCI Cardiovascular Credentials License: Complete Roadmap
Follow this path to maximize your chances of passing on the first try
Phase 1: ECG FoundationsYou are here
Master paper speed, intervals, lead placement, and the conduction system before tackling specific rhythms.
Phase 2: Sinus, Atrial, Junctional Rhythms
Drill rate, regularity, P-wave morphology, and PR criteria for each supraventricular pattern.
Phase 3: Ventricular Rhythms, AV Blocks, Pacemakers
Recognize PVCs, VT/VF, torsades, AV blocks, and pacemaker capture/sense problems on sight.
Phase 4: MI Patterns, Alarms, Escalation
Practice STEMI lead localization, alarm management, structured handoff, and CRAT scope.
Can You Take the CRAT Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Current CCI/ARDMS/NBSTSA/other accepted credential is an alternative route
- •Current healthcare licensure (RN, RT, EMT-P, LPN, MD/DO/PA/NP) is an alternative route
- •Verify the current eligibility table on the CCI exam application before applying

Quality Exam Prep Shouldn't Cost Hundreds
I'm Ran Chen, an engineer with 20+ years of coding experience. I passed my Life Insurance license, EA exam, SIE, Series 6, 63, 65, and finally the CFP® exam.
Through all these exams, one thing became clear: exam prep is expensive. But with AI, we can change that. Quality preparation can now be free for everyone.
What's Next After the CRAT?
After passing the CRAT, you can pursue these career paths
CCT
