Can You Take the ACI Field Testing I Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Written exam is closed book and contains 55 multiple-choice questions
- •Written exam requires at least 60% on each required method/practice and at least 70% overall
- •Performance exam is closed book and requires six demonstrations plus verbal description of ASTM C172 sampling
- •Certification is valid for 5 years and recertification requires both written and performance examinations
- •Valid government-issued photo ID and local sponsoring-group registration requirements may apply

Slump of hydraulic-cement concrete, including equipment, sample requirements, consolidation, mold lift, measurement, reporting, and timing.
Density, unit weight, yield, relative yield, and gravimetric air content, including calibrated measure use and calculations.
