The Virginia Class B Contractor Business Examination is the official designated-employee examination administered by PSI for the Virginia Board for Contractors. Class B covers a single contract or project of USD 30,000 or more but less than USD 150,000, or 12-month volume of USD 250,000 or more but less than USD 1 million (Code of Virginia § 54.1-1100). The official exam has 74 scored items in two portions: Virginia 24 items in 48 minutes (pass 18) and General 50 items in 100 minutes (pass 35). The two-portion PSI fee is USD 72. The examination is open book. This bank is an English-language MCQ study adaptation. It does not replace required trade experience, pre-license education, financial statements or bonds, board approval, or the official examination.
