About the IBPS RRB Clerk Exam
The IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose), commonly called the IBPS RRB Clerk exam, is conducted through the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs) to recruit clerical staff for participating RRBs across India. Selection is a two-stage online objective process: a qualifying Preliminary exam of 80 questions for 80 marks in 45 minutes (Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability), followed by a Main exam of 200 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes spanning Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, and the final merit list and provisional allotment are based solely on the Main exam marks. There is no interview for the Office Assistant post.
