About the IATA Foundation (Aggregate Prep) Exam
DIPL-22 is IATA's Foundation in Travel and Tourism diploma. Candidates earn it by completing one selected elective course using Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport+. Each elective covers the same eight published topic areas and includes its own GDS-specific Electronic Booking Tool environment. The common exam format is 80 closed-course-book multiple-choice questions in two hours, with 60% required to pass and two total attempts during the 12-month access period measured from purchase. This preserved route is an aggregate preparation resource: it teaches shared travel-and-tourism concepts, while candidates must use their selected elective's materials for system-specific commands and workflows.
Exam sponsor: IATA (International Air Transport Association). The requirements and fees below concern the certification or admission exam, separate from our free practice resources.

Choose one elective—Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport+—and take the exam associated with that course. This route covers the shared curriculum and is not a substitute for variant-specific GDS command practice. Distinction is 85% for Amadeus and Sabre, and 90% for Travelport+.
