Can You Take the Arizona Notary Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements

- •Must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- •Exam required for ALL new and renewing notaries (effective July 1, 2025)
- •Must register with Prometric and obtain Candidate ID before applying
- •Passing score valid for 90 days - must complete application within this window
- •If failed 3 times, must wait 1 year before retrying
- •Retake allowed after 30-day waiting period
