Outcome 2 — Safety Management
Practise safe systems of work, risk assessment, isolation and correct instrument use. This outcome contributes 2 of the 40 online questions (5%).
Outcome 3 — Periodic Inspection
Cover inspection, extent and limitations, evaluation of observations, classification codes and EICR documentation. This outcome contributes 7 of the 40 online questions (17%).
Outcome 4 — Periodic Testing
Spend most of your time selecting and interpreting the tests appropriate to the installation. Do not memorise a universal sequence: the unit requires you to explain why periodic work has no recommended fixed test sequence. This outcome contributes 26 of the 40 online questions (65%).
Can You Take the 2391-51 Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements

- •Practical experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations
- •Sufficient electrotechnical experience to work safely; the qualification is not intended for industry newcomers
