NAPT Military Aptitude Tests License: Complete Roadmap
Follow this path to organize your licensing and exam preparation
Phase 1: Math FoundationsYou are here
Editorial transferable-skills phase: build fluency in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry without treating them as a published NAPT section list.
Phase 2: Physics Concepts
Editorial transferable-skills phase: review mechanics, thermodynamics, and electricity and magnetism with calculation practice.
Phase 3: Chemistry & Nuclear Science
Editorial transferable-skills phase: review foundational chemistry and non-operational nuclear-science concepts.
Phase 4: Timed Practice & Review
Use locally timed mixed practice to diagnose weak skills; do not treat its length or timing as an official NAPT simulation.
Can You Take the NAPT Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •A recruiter determines whether the NFa or NFb formula applies to the candidate's complete ASVAB record
- •NFb requires an applicable ASVAB composite greater than 235, a published combined-score formula greater than 290, and a NAPT score of at least 55
- •Candidates must meet all other current Nuclear Field and enlistment requirements
