NCJ 2026 fee structure lists foreign-trained processing at US $100.00 for CARICOM/RENR applicants and US $150.00 for non-CARICOM applicants, first registration/licence at US $150.00 for CARICOM and US $200.00 for non-CARICOM, and renewal of licensure at JM $2,000.00 each. Exam Fee
Study time: 8-12 weeks of focused review after completing an approved basic nursing programme and school-level preparation.
Prerequisites: RENR eligibility requires successful completion of a recognised basic nursing education programme of at least three years, approval from the education institution, and registration/licensure processing through the General Nursing Council. NCJ training entry pages list minimum school-entry subjects for nursing/midwifery programmes, while foreign-trained registration requires credentials, licence evidence, transcript, references and fees.
