Confirm you hold a degree or equivalent and register with the SRA for an SQE candidate account. Choose an SQE1 preparation course or self-study plan and decide whether to sit FLK1 and FLK2 together or in separate windows. SQE replaced the LPC/QLTS route from September 2021.

Retake Policy

Candidates may resit a failed FLK (or both) at a future sitting, paying the per-FLK resit fee, subject to the SRA's overall limit of three attempts at SQE1 within a six-year period.
