Can You Take the PP Exam?

Education
Graduate of an ABA-approved legal studies or paralegal studies program, OR a minimum of 5 years of paralegal/legal assistant experience
Additional Requirements
  • All four parts must be taken on the first attempt unless you hold a current CLP
  • Current CLP credential holders sit for Part 4 only
  • Failed parts may be retaken, but all failed parts must be retaken at the same time
  • Passed parts stay valid for two years; after that the entire exam must be retaken
  • Delivered online and AI-proctored by Rosalyn through the Prolydian platform — a desktop or laptop is required
  • Recertification: 75 CLE hours every 5 years, including 50 substantive-law hours and 5 ethics hours
  • NALS membership is not required for any NALS certification exam
