PP Paralegal Certifications License: Complete Roadmap
Follow this path to organize your licensing and exam preparation
Part 1 — Advanced Communications & Legal TerminologyYou are here
Drill diction and grammar, all sixteen punctuation marks, number usage, capitalization, spelling, syntax, letters and memoranda, and Latin legal terminology. The Gregg Reference Manual (11th ed.) is the mechanics authority NALS names.
Part 2 — The Law Firm: Office Procedures & Knowledge
Learn alphabetic filing rules under the Gregg Reference Manual, law-office hardware and software vocabulary, conflicts-check systems, and firm billing, trust accounts, deposits, and check handling.
Part 3 — Advanced Legal Ethics
Work through the ABA Model Rules, the NALS Code of Ethics, UPL, confidentiality, privilege, and client-property rules, then the legal authority topics: nature and sources of law, jurisdiction, conflicts of law, and court systems.
Part 4 — Advanced Substantive Law
Cover Bluebook citation forms, civil and criminal procedure end to end, torts and products liability, and the twenty-five areas of law NALS lists — from admiralty and antitrust through workers' compensation.
Mock Exams & Review
Sit the NALS mock exams part by part. Because every part must clear 70% on its own, rebalance study time toward your weakest part rather than your overall average.

Through all these exams, one thing became clear: exam prep is expensive. But with AI, we can change that. Quality preparation can now be free for everyone.
