Study time: 150–250 hours (suggested planning range, not an NMTCB requirement)
Prerequisites: An active NMTCB, ARRT, or CAMRT nuclear medicine credential, or ARRT(R/T) or CAMRT(RT/RTT), is required. Within the preceding three years, complete at least 300 clinical hours on CT, PET/CT, or SPECT/CT, including at least 10 different procedures and 50 total repetitions, plus 35 CT didactic contact hours. At least four didactic hours must be in each of contrast administration, cross-sectional anatomy, x-ray physics, and CT radiation safety. Graduates applying within three years of an accredited nuclear medicine program may qualify for the didactic exemption described by NMTCB.
Valid for: Annual renewal, active primary credential, and 12 CT-specific CE hours per two-year cycle
