Experience
No prior corrections experience required; completion of the basic recruit curriculum is the entry path.
Background Check
Full background investigation, fingerprinting, and drug screening administered by the hiring agency under FDLE CJSTC standards.
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship and good moral character per FDLE CJSTC.
  • No felony convictions and no perjury or false-statement misdemeanors.
  • Candidates must register and schedule the SOCE through FDLE-approved Pearson VUE locations.
